Welcome brother marine to 'The Rock'. This site is dedicated to the most zealous of all the Space Marine Chapters, the 'Dark Angels'. Within these pages you will learn some (but not all!)of the secrets of this chapter, but remember, you must guard these secrets well, and reveal them at your own peril.

The origins of the Dark Angels are shrouded in mystery. There are no records of its begginnings nor any mention of its part in the Emporer's Great Crusade. Any reference in the Imperial histories to its deeds during the accursed times of the Horus Heresy has been expunged. But a legened persists that at one point, the Dark Angels teetered on the very brink of Chaos and that act of the most terrible betrayal dishonoured all of the Chapter's honour. Such is their shame, that from that time on they have born the mark of the Unforgiven and must strive for absolution from thir sins of millenia past.

If you want to know their terrible secret though, i'm sorry but you'll have to buy the codex for, as all loyal Angels know, you must never reveal this secret to any other race. Their story of treachery and betrayal is the Dark Angels' hidden shame and their secret mission, to destroy all of the 'Fallen' is now their only hope of salvation. None know of this other than th Dark Angels, (which is why i can't tell you) their successor Chapters and, perhaps, the Emporer on his golden throne.

The Chapter has been shaded by it's dark past and is secretive and monastic in nature, with much time given over to worship and prayer. There are many different levels within the Chapter which individuals may gradually rise through. On attaining each new level, they find out a little more about the truth behind the Dark Angels' origins, but it is only the highest ranking members of the Chapter that know the terrible, shamefull secret of what happened ten thousand years ago.

Well, This site is split into four main sections, each of which describes a different area of the Dark Angels army and how to colect a contingent of the Emporer's Finest.

The Ravenwing - Another part of the Dark Angels army, the fast bikes and land speeders of th Ravenwing zoom towards the enemy and shoot them at close quarters, before getting out of a seriously dangerous position.

The Deathwing - This area of the Dark Angels are the most stubborn and also the most feared unit in the Space Marines, besides the Blood Angels Death Company!! Most of the Deathwing form the eliteTerminators which with their awesome terminator armour, and superb long range and close-combat weapons, plus they are so stubborn they hardly ever fall back you could almost kill a whole army with these fighting Machines.

Special Characters - Even more powerful than terminators your special characters can wipe out regiment after regiment, cutting a bloody swathe through your opponent. With an invunerable save(often) and brilliant close-combat capabilities thes fighters are more than a match for any challenger!

The Army list - The Dark Angels army list is supplimental to the main Space Marine army list(if you want that buy the codex)It details unique troops and squads available to a Dark Angel commander and the specialised war gear they use in battle. This is followed by a 1,000 point sample army and more information on the silent, shrouded warriors called the Dark Angels.
